Keeping It Classy

I am a fan of bending rules a bit. I've taken to carrying around this patent leather clutch in the day time. Why save it for after six? Carrying an "evening" bag during the day adds a little bit of fun. You'll feel like your day is  a little bit more glamours when you've got a cute clutch tucked under your arm. 

This outfit was a very classic, clean cut style, so I wanted to keep it balanced with some super feminine touches. Red lipstick, pearls, a messy french twist and a cute pair of heels worked well for that.

A Fashionista and a Half

First off, I would like to apologize for not posting or visiting blogs recently. I was suddenly struck by inspiration for my spring collection, and I wanted to concentrate on making something new, instead of taking influence on existing styles. But I have the ideas on paper, so its back to the blogging world! (I apologize if that didn't make any sense.)

So without further ado, here's my outfit for today. 

Gold and silver cocktail ring? Go buy one. Goes with EVERYTHING. 

I really shouldn't give out too many makeup tips...because every now and then, my boyfriend peaks onto this page (Hey there, Sam!), and this might ruin some of the "girl secrets", but....

This is a trick my grandmother gave me: Use your lipstick as a blush. That way, they'll always match. Just make sure you blend!

Here's a little surprise for you. I caught my little sister, Abbey, poking around my wardrobe. She looks at me with an adorable, guilty face and says "Could I...maybe...borrow something?"

I proceeded to dress her up. I added the jacket, the necklace, and the hair twist to her jeans, belt, and green shirt.

And she got her own photoshoot....
