It's getting colder now, so the sudden weather change put me in the mood to curl up with my cat, my kindle, and a cup of Earl Grey, but I had to be at a meeting for the fashion show in the evening. Today's challenge? Comfortable AND classy. My solution?
My go-to piece: the oversized mens' shirt. If you do not own one of these, steal one from your boyfriend. Now. They are the best. It's the comfort of a giant tee shirt, with the class of a dressy blouse. I've worn it tucked in, belted with leggings, under sweaters....even as a cover-up at the beach. It is almost as useful as a classic LBD or a white tee.

My other secret weapon for taking this outfit from cozy to chic....
A patent leather clutch. Who says they have to just be for fancy evenings? It adds instant *uumph* to an outfit. To balance it out, I wore simple pearl earrings.
