Giveaway Winner!

Thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway! I'm so glad I have such beautiful followers. Now without further ado, the scarf goes to....

Yasmeen, of this adorable blog.

Congratulations!

Looking ahead....

I love the thrill of starting a new year. A fresh slate, a chance to start something new and make changes. And I have some big ones coming up.

Production is underway for a new project. I won't tell you much right now...but I will say that you're about to see a lot more of my clothing designs.

After that, I have plans to spend about three weeks touring France, Italy, and Switzerland. I'm a girl who's never left her own country...and I can't wait to see the world.

and last but NOT least.....

This fall, I am going to the school of my dreams to study fashion design. I'll be moving to Atlanta...right in the middle of all the life and action of the city.

All of this adventure...and I'll still find time to show you what I wore. ;)

Stay beautiful, stay fabulous, but get ready for something different.

Day 7: Dinner with Family

The last day of my holiday visit (besides another road trip tomorrow), so I went out to dinner with family. This is my sister with me, who is actually one of my models from the fall show.

To keep it simple, I used my black turtleneck shirt and a scarf. I just wore jeans with it.

Day 6: Shopping

Went shopping today. I found two shirts for under $10 each, and a jacket for $20. That immediately makes it a good day.

When I go to the mall, I always try to wear something that makes it easy to try on clothes. Underneath the sweater, I wore a white cami. This always is helpful when trying on jackets and other layering pieces. The jeggings work well for putting on dresses or shirts. The reason I wore the boots? I really need to stop looking for shoes and jeans. By wearing shoes that are difficult to take off, I wasn't tempted to "just quickly" try on a pair of ballet flats.

Day 4: Christmas Eve

I wore a skirt I made out of an old thrifted skirt. It was waaay too big for me, and down to my ankles, but a new waistband, a few snips and a gather stich was all it needed to have a second chance.

Posting after a party with family....lots of fun, now to bed so Santa can come!
